On 1st , 2nd and the 3rd of September Pezy will organize a plastic engineering course for the eighth time. Along with Pezy staff we invite other interested people or companies to benefit from this interesting course.

[+] Big Bang Success
|
The Big Bang workshop was unleashed June 2, a thoroughly exciting interactive event bringing designers and industry leaders together in a creative session. A great success, the workshop was organized by Pezy and Dusc (www.dusc-innovation.nl) in cooperation with, among others, DINSDAG and BNO.
The workshop stems from the philosophy that a successful sustainable innovation can only be achieved if there is a match between sustainable materials/technology and the recognized added value for the user. Pezy is enriching this approach and looking for more ways to put it into practice.

[+] Certified on Testing & Verification for Philips Shavers
|
Pezy has successfully completed a pilot project for the Development Quality Department (DQD) for Philips Shavers. By executing parallel testing at DQD and Pezy testing facilities, DQD was able to confirm corresponding test results.
Group leader Tijme de Jonge and Quality Engineer Hendrik Vloo of DQD analyzed the results in concert with Pezy, concluding that tests were properly executed and that results were trustworthy and accurate. With this solid foundation Philips plans to share some of its testing and verification workload with Pezy.

[+] Pierre van der Velden joins Pezy Team
Pierre van der Velden is an expert consultant in the area of moulding processes, with over 25 years experience in the plastics industry working in roles as Project Engineering and Head of Process Engineering.
"In May I joined Pezy as a consultant highly experienced in the development and implementation of injection molding processes. Pezy continues to improve its capacity for product development and managing the industrialization process. [+] Pezy graduate Michiel Bijloo in India
|
In continuing support for the struggle for clean drinking water, Pezy is developing a new design for a mobile hand pump, in concert with the IBOTA foundation (www.ibota.org).
Currently IBOTA is looking for investors to start up the production of these water filters for the third world, manufactured by men and women in danger of being exploited by the major sex Industry in Kolkata.
This charity initiative is in hands of Michiel Bijloo, graduate of Rotterdam University. In May, as part of his graduation project, Michiel has visited the production facilities in Kolkata, India, to explore the local technical possibilities.

- On June 19th, Senior Creative Consultant Erland Bakkers gave the lecture
'Concepting in Product Innovation' at Hanzehogeschool Groningen.
- Last but not least, Pezy will participate in the Kunststoffen Fair in Eindhoven in September. This year we plan to introduce our consultancy team and our up-to-date innovations. Across our offices it has been very exciting to keep our internal and external projects running. Success!
