Triangle Datema authorized POD Supplier NOAA Charts
We are proud to announce that as of now Datema Delfzijl B.V. is an authorized Print-on-Demand (POD) supplier of the charts of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
NOAA's Print-on-Demand (POD) nautical charts provide up-to-date navigation information to mariners. These paper charts are updated on a weekly basis and include all of the latest critical chart corrections. All NOAA POD charts meet the requirements for mandatory carriage of nautical, including the requirements for updating.
Also POD supplier of ADMIRALTY and the Norwegian Mapping Authority
We were already able to print Admiralty standard navigational charts (1-4999) and the charts of the Norwegian Mapping Authority at our office. Whilst we will continue to stock a small range of charts, Print-on-Demand (POD) technology enables us to fulfil 100% of your wishes.

Triangle New Format of the Garbage Record Book
Amendments to the format of the Garbage Record Book, aimed to simplify the recording process, enter into force internationally on 1 March 2018. From this date, the format will be specified in Appendix II of MARPOL Annex V. From December 2017, all Garbage Record Books purchased from Datema, will be in the updated format, however operators can still use the previous version of the record book until 1 March 2018.

The main change is that the Record of Garbage Discharges will be divided into Part I and Part II. Amendments have also been made to align the terminology in the Format of the Garbage Record Book and the Record of Garbage Discharges. Part I of the Record of Garbage Discharges will be for the use of all ships. Part II will be only required for ships that carry solid bulk cargoes. Part I and Part II will be produced as two separate record books (similar to Part I and Part II of the Oil Record Book, required under MARPOL Annex I). A new category for garbage will be also introduced; the ‘Electronic waste’. This is expected to cover disposed electrical or electronic equipment, including its components, sub-assemblies and consumables.
A Garbage Record Book is required for fixed or floating platforms, ships of 400 GT and over, and/or when certified to carry 15 or more persons and is engaged in international voyages.

If you wish to order the amended Garbage Record Book and poster please contact our sales department. It's also possible to add logbooks, posters and other record books into your Automatic Supply. Just let us know!
